Margaret Stopera hasn't always been Maggie the Food Stylist.
She was once Maggie the Design Student, for example. Then she became Maggie the Pro Baker. After that, she spent eighteen years being Maggie the Retouch Artist and Small Business Co-Owner.
But for the last decade, she's been known mostly as Maggie the Food Stylist, an alias that suits her fine, as it allows her to be paid for something she loves doing: combining one part culinary knack with two parts imaginative flair to create some of the most photogenic food in the Twin Cities and beyond. Her work has appeared in ads, websites, cookbooks, magazines, and product packages for General Mills, Hormel, Kowalski's, Target, and oodles of other satisfied clients.
